We spent an enjoyable - not to mention exhausting! - fifteen months searching Southern and Eastern Spain for the ideal location in which to work, live and play. Our objectives were simple: we were looking for an area that satisfied not only our desire for a radical improvement in our quality of life, but also met the needs of our growing children - and our ageing parents who visit us whenever they feel up to it. We also wanted to be within convenient travelling and commuting distance from Cheshire, England - allowing us to pop back and forth as we continue to live in both Spain and Cheshire until our children are older. We searched carefully for an investment that would give us more for our money than similar, but more highly developed, areas of Spain.

In Oliva and Gandia we have found our ideal location. It is pretty, tranquil and the locals are warm and friendly. We have a choice of airports at convenient distances and we can pick up low cost 2-hour flights to Manchester. There is even a train station at Gandia and an excellent Motorway connection the A7, which links us to Alicante, Benidorm, Valencia and the rest of Spain.
